Mission & Vision

A pair of brown high-heeled shoes hanging on a tree branch outdoors with greenery in the background.
Ballet slippers painted in shiny rose gold with white interiors and elastic bands, resting on lush green foliage and a textured tree trunk.

“Agorɔ bɛsɔ a, efiri anɔpa”*
“If the carnival will be fun, it starts from the morning.”

We believe excellence begins with intention, from the very first step.

Our 4 signature shades are the result of tireless sourcing, testing, and dedication. Every shoe we make is a step toward visibility, representation, and excellence in ballet. No more pancaking because this is the tone made first, not fixed later.

We’re building more than just a product: we’re building a movement. As we look ahead, we aim to co-create with other Black-led businesses, sponsor workshops, host community events, and continue redefining what it means to belong in ballet.

Every dancer takes the stage with power. And every pair counts.

Our Logo

Our "B" logo holds layers of meaning. It’s shaped by two mirrored "D"s—representing Black Dance—and also echoes the form of ballet shoes in motion. It draws inspiration from the Dono, a symbol in Ghana’s Adinkra tradition.

The Dono, or talking drum, stands for rhythm, praise, and unity—two drums coming together to speak as one. Through this design, we honor our roots and carry forward tradition in every step, blending ballet with our own rhythm.

This is our movement. Our dance. Our sound.
